These battery boxes are very nice. The lid goes on and off and locks in place easily and, since it includes a power switch, that’s one less part I need to add to my circuit. I’m using these to power an ESP8266 sensor (with a TPS63030 buck-boost converter).

The build quality and cosmetic look/feel of these battery boxes are very nice. I am going to buy some more. There is also a 4-cell box with lid+switch that I am going to buy a few of. Good units. The only negative I can think of is that the switch is on the bottom of the box (assuming the lid is on the top) so if you glue the box down to your project the switch becomes inaccessible. Or you could use velcro so the box can be removed to access the switch
