Description

Designed with versatility in mind, the power supply for the Relay module is 5V and can be powered by batteries, external 5V power supplies, or even from inside the device you want to control. Our Relay is engineered to be adaptable to any situation.
Programming the Relay is a breeze with our intuitive system. To turn your device on, simply press and hold the button on the module until the LED lights up, release the button on the module, and press and hold the button on your remote that you want the receiver to learn. To turn it off, follow the same steps and hold the button on the module for about 10 seconds until the LED lights up.
We’ve included a 2-button IR remote control in the IR Remote Relay kit, which may require programming as explained above. With a maximum switching capability of 250VAC or 30VDC with 10A, our Relay can handle even the most demanding tasks.

The relay works perfectly and I really like that you can use the jumper to toggle between modes (toggle on/off OR on/off when button held down). Unfortunately the remote control didn’t work at all. I checked with multiple batteries that I know work, and I also used the camera trick with my cellphone to see that nothing happened when I pressed a button on the remote. I have another remote control I can use that works so not a big deal. But this is a great little relay component and I plan on using it to use a remote control to turn on/off a microcontroller.
