Description
This sensor’s typical use is for example in autonomous operating vacuum bots, to avoid falling down on stairs or the edge of a patio or deck, or to operate only within borders (marked with reflecting tape). The operating range is between zero and about 25 mm distance to the surface. The power supply should be chosen accordingly to the connected microcontroller; for example 5V for an Arduino Uno, or 3.3V for an Arduino Due or Zero.
- Operating Voltage (max.) 2- 6V
- Operating Voltage (recommended) 3.3 or 5.0V
- Digital Output on/off (1/0) max. +/- 25mA (source/sink).
- Dimension sensor 35 x 11 x 11 mm, 1.5g
