Description
This very convenient breakout board enables you to make use of the very capable CD74HC4067 Analog Multiplexer IC for your breadboard projects.
One of the 16 possible input channels is selected by 4 address lines (binary), and the input signal is routed through to the output pin.
With the CD74HC4067 module, you can measure up to 16 analog values by using only 1 analog input pin on a microcontroller. All you need to do is select which one of the 16 input values you want to see on the output pin.
Since this chip works in both directions, you can also use it to send 1 analog output signal to 16 different, addressable outputs.
The wide operating voltage range of 2 to 6V makes this chip perfect for 3.3V and 5V microcontroller applications.
