WEMOS D1 Mini 8×8 Addressable RGB LED Shield has 64 LEDs WS2812B-2020 from Worldsemi with a full-brightness current of 12mA for each of the 3 chips.

Do the math: 64 LEDs x 3 colors x 12mA = 2.3A. This is the maximum current consumption for white light at it’s full brightness. The 256 programmable brightness levels allow to reduce the current to a fraction, and a typical use by displaying characters and numbers reduces the current again.

The module fits on WEMOS/LOLIN D1 Mini and most compatible modules (C3, S2 etc.). Please compare the pinout to make sure it will fit your IoT module.
