Description
When assembled, this Model Traffic Light DIY simulates a traffic light on a 4-way intersection.
The pictures show the finished product after soldering! This is a DIY kit and soldering is required!
The time for the green phase can be adjusted using the pushbuttons, and a “late-night mode” that flashes only the yellow LEDs is available as well.
This circuit uses an 80C51 microcontroller. A combination of color LEDs and 2 Digits shows the status and the remaining transit time to simulate the working state of the actual crossroad traffic lights.
Button 1 turns the late-night mode on and off.
Button 2 is to enter the set-mode for the transit time. The adjustment is done with buttons 3 (+) and 4 (-). Press button 2 again to exit the set-mode.
We recommend a USB power adapter (charger) to supply 5V to the Model Traffic Light.
